BELGRANO
Belgrano is another traditional neighbourhoud
from Buenos
Aires, very important regarding shopping and residential
areas, with nice and extenses parcs and shopping areas.
It is an important part of the argentinian history, because
it was the temporary head office of the National Governement
(located in the actual Historical Museum Sarmiento), capital
of the country in 1880.
Gorgeous manor houses of anglo-saxon background in Belgrano

all over the Cabildo Avenue that makes Belgrano one of

SPANISH ART MUSEUM
ENRIQUE LARRETA
Located in the former residence (neo colonial architecture
from the second half of the XVIXth century) of writer
Enrique Larreta, author of "La Gloria de Don Ramiro".
You can appreciate spanish art, paintings, furniture and
china from the XVIIIth century. Timetable (click in museums).

SARMIENTO
HISTORICAL MUSEUM
Remembrance of the argentinian
prominent figure Domingo Faustino Sarmiento, creator
of the argentinian national education and former president,
you can find his books, furniture and other historical
documents.
Address: Avenida Juramento 2291. Wednesdays, Thursdays
and Fridays from 2pm to 7.45 pm. Tuesdays closed. Saturdays,
Sundays and public holidays from 3pm to 7.45 pm. Thursdays
Free entrance. Fee on other days: $ 3.-
ARTISANAL
FAIR
Renown fair due to the high quality of things made in
leather, metal, wood and paintings.
Located in Plaza Belgrano, in front of the Historical
Museum Sarmiento and the beautiful Church "Inmaculada
Concepción", also named "La Redonda"
(the round).
Open on saturdays, sundays and public holidays from
10 am till 8 pm.
CABILDO
AVENUE
The commercial heart of Belgrano is found in
the cross between this avenue and Avenue Juramento,
where you can find all kinds of shops and commercial
galleries, boutiques, computers, pubs, restaurants,
cinemas and a lot of fun. Perfect for a shopping tour!
